After the series of Big Read Out reading organised in 2010/11, the koLABorAYshun readings were started in 2011 and have continued since, orginally at the Exchange (now the Revernce) Hotel, Footscray, then at The Willow Bar, Northcote, in 2013 at Newport Folk Festival, Sydney Fringe and Melbourne Fringe.

 

koLABorAYshun seeks to empower and develop artists by celebrating and including all the arts.  There is an open stage, but photographers and videographers are also encouraged.  Feature acts are encouraged to present multimedia events in assoiation with other artists.
